Living Light (\u201Cwe,\u201D \u201Cus,\u201D or \u201Cour\u201D) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Information we collect
- Account info: email address used to register, and a display name if you add one.
- App content you create: journal entries, streak and completion history, focus topics, and delivery preferences.
- Device & usage: time zone (to deliver devotionals at your local time), app version, and aggregate usage patterns.
- Purchase info: subscription status and, on web, a Stripe customer identifier \u2014 never your full card details, which are handled by Stripe.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver your daily devotional, verse, reflection, and prayer.
- To keep your journal private to you and track your streak honestly.
- To process and verify web subscription purchases and grant premium access.
- To send optional in-app reminders you\u2019ve enabled, at your chosen time.
3. What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share your journal entries with anyone but you.
- We don\u2019t track you across other apps or websites for advertising.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secure servers managed by our platform provider and is accessible only through your authenticated account. Journal entries are protected so that only you can read them. Stripe handles all card data on their secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure \u2014 we never see or store your card number.
5. AI Bible Companion
When you ask the AI Bible Companion a question, your question and the generated response may be sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. We do not use questions to build personality profiles or sell to third parties. Responses are for spiritual encouragement, not professional advice.
6. Your rights
- Access & export: sign in to see your data at any time.
- Correction: update your profile and preferences inside the app.
- Deletion: delete your account and all associated data from Settings \u2014 this is immediate and irreversible.
7. Children\u2019s privacy
Living Light is intended for a general audience and doesn\u2019t knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we\u2019ll remove the account.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new \u201Clast updated\u201D date.
