Terms of Use

1. Service

Living Light provides a daily devotional, a private journal, an optional AI Bible Companion, and a premium subscription that unlocks the full library, audio narration, and companion features.

2. Acceptable use

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Don\u2019t attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.
• Keep your account credentials to yourself \u2014 you\u2019re responsible for activity on your account.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Plans: Living Light Premium is $4.99/month or $39.99/year. The AI Bible Companion add-on is $3.99/month, and a one-time +100 questions top-up is $6.99.
• Where you can subscribe: Subscriptions are purchased on the web at living-light.base44.app. We do not offer in-app purchases inside the iOS/Android apps.
• Renewal & taxes: Recurring plans auto-renew until cancelled. Fees are charged in USD plus any applicable taxes via Stripe.

4. Cancellation & refunds

• Cancel anytime: From web Settings, cancel a recurring plan \u2014 access continues until the paid period ends, then reverts to free.
• No surprise charges: We don\u2019t bill after a cancellation.
• Refund policy: If you were charged in error, are charged after a cancellation, or are unhappy within 14 days of a recurring charge, email hello@living-light.app for a full refund of that charge. One-time top-ups are non-refundable except in cases of technical failure (then we\u2019ll refund or grant replacement credit). Apple/Google do not process refunds for our web purchases \u2014 all refunds come from us directly.

5. Existing premium access

If you already hold an active Premium or Companion entitlement purchased through our website, you\u2019ll keep full access on iOS, Android, and web. Entitlement status is read from your account the same way on every platform.

6. Content & intellectual property

Daily devotionals, reflections, prayers, and app design are owned by Living Light. Scripture quotations are from public-domain translations. You own your journal entries and may delete them anytime.

7. AI Bible Companion

AI responses are generated to support personal reflection and may not always be accurate. They are not professional, legal, medical, or psychological advice. In a crisis, contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Living Light is provided \u201Cas is.\u201D To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms; the \u201Clast updated\u201D date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
